Product Knowledge & FAQs

Which PowerFly product should I choose?

Start with the item you need and count its sales unit. LED balls are sold in six-packs, paddles are sold individually, and the gear bag is a separate accessory. Current prices and stock are on the linked product pages.

Should I buy LED balls or an LED paddle?

If you already have a paddle and want illuminated balls for recreational games, explore the LED ball six-packs. If you want a light-up paddle, choose an individual USB-C LED paddle and check its included accessories. Balls are a separate purchase. Read the ball switch guidance or paddle charging guidance for the product you choose.

What is a useful pickleball gift for someone who already plays?

A complete ball six-pack or a gear bag can add to equipment they already own. For a paddle gift, choose an available style and review the package contents. Our gift selection guide compares the options; gift wrapping and decorations are not listed as included.

Does a large personal party order qualify for wholesale?

Buying several products for personal use does not automatically provide wholesale access. Wholesale pricing is for approved businesses buying for resale. Personal shoppers can order available products at the displayed retail prices; shops can apply for a business account and read the per-SKU quantity examples.

What are PowerFly LED pickleballs?

PowerFly LED pickleballs are perforated plastic balls with built-in LED illumination, sold in packs of six. They add color to recreational pickleball, evening gatherings and pickleball-themed gifts. Choose Yellow, Green, Orange or White, subject to availability.

Are LED pickleballs the same as glow-in-the-dark pickleballs?

LED pickleballs use battery-powered lights. Products described as glow-in-the-dark can instead use material that stores light and releases it over time. PowerFly's listed balls use LEDs; check the selected color's instructions for its switch and battery details.

How many balls come in one pack?

One retail unit contains six LED pickleballs of one color. For example, two packs contain 12 balls. A quantity of six on a ball product page means six packs, or 36 balls.

How do I turn on the LED pickleballs?

The Yellow version uses a twist switch. The PowerFly LED ball manual shows how to use the supplied metal key:

1. Insert the metal key into the slot at the top of the LED module.
2. Turn clockwise to switch the light on.
3. Turn counterclockwise to switch the light off.

Follow the insert supplied with your selected ball. For Green, Orange or White, contact PowerFly with the color and SKU to confirm the matching switch and battery instructions.

Are the LED pickleballs rechargeable?

The Yellow version has a built-in, non-rechargeable battery. Do not treat the ball as a USB-C rechargeable product. For Green, Orange or White, follow the included instructions or ask us to confirm the battery details for that SKU before buying.

Can I remove the batteries from PowerFly LED products?

The batteries in PowerFly LED pickleballs are removable; the batteries in the LED paddles are not removable. Follow the instructions for your selected product. Use only the specified replacement battery for your ball color, and contact PowerFly if you need help identifying it. A removable battery does not mean that the product is rechargeable.

Can I play with LED pickleballs in complete darkness?

Use a safely lit playing area where players can see the court, people and obstacles. LED illumination adds a visual effect; it does not light the whole court. Plan evening play around the venue's lighting and rules.

Are these LED products tournament approved?

PowerFly presents these products for recreational play. The listings do not claim USA Pickleball tournament approval. If you need equipment for an organized competition, check that event's equipment requirements before ordering.

What are the LED fiberglass paddles made of?

The listed PowerFly LED paddles have a fiberglass face and a polypropylene honeycomb core, with LED edge lighting. Styles are Pink, Flag and Blue. One retail unit is one paddle.

How do I charge a PowerFly LED paddle?

The listed LED fiberglass paddles use USB-C charging at the base. Follow the included charging instructions. This charging feature applies to the paddles; it should not be assumed for the LED balls.

How do I turn on a PowerFly LED paddle and change its light mode?

The PowerFly LED paddle manual shows a power button at the bottom of the paddle. Hold it for three seconds to turn the lights on or off. With the lights on, press and release the button briefly to change the color mode. Follow the insert supplied with your paddle.

Should I charge the LED paddle before its first use?

Yes. The PowerFly LED paddle manual advises fully charging the battery before the first use. Use the USB-C charging connection at the base and follow the supplied charging instructions.

How long do the paddle lights last?

The manufacturer listings estimate approximately 90 minutes to charge and approximately four to five hours of LED runtime. These are estimates rather than guarantees; runtime varies with use. Charge and check the lights before an event.

How many LED modes do the paddles have?

The listed LED fiberglass paddles offer more than 20 LED color modes. Use the product's included instructions to operate the lighting and choose a mode.

What comes with an LED paddle?

Each listed LED fiberglass paddle includes a neoprene paddle cover and a wrist sweatband. Balls and gear bags are sold separately. Check the selected product page for the current contents.

What features does the PowerFly pickleball gear bag have?

The Beige PowerFly gear bag has multiple compartments, zippered pockets, a side water-bottle holder, an earphone port, shoulder straps and reflective strips. It is sold as one bag; paddles and balls are separate purchases.

How should I care for LED pickleball equipment?

Follow the instructions supplied with your product. Do not immerse LED balls in water, and keep charging connections dry. Keep small parts, including batteries and any included keys, away from young children. Ask us for SKU-specific care guidance if an instruction is unclear.

Pickleball parties & gift ideas

Which PowerFly products can I use for a pickleball party?

Choose LED ball six-packs for recreational games, light-up paddles for players, and a gear bag to keep equipment together. These products suit a pickleball-themed birthday, a friends' court gathering or a gift for a pickleball fan. See our pickleball party supplies and gifts guide for planning ideas.

How do I work out quantities for a party?

Count ball packs and paddles separately. One ball pack contains six balls; each paddle is sold individually. If your plan calls for 12 balls, order two packs. If four people need paddles at the same time, count four paddles, allowing for any they already own. For one unopened six-pack gift for each of 12 guests, order 12 packs, containing 72 balls. Read the player and gift quantity examples and check live stock before planning an event date.

Are party sets or decorations included?

The current range is sold as individual ball six-packs, individual LED paddles and one gear bag. A party shopping list combines separate products. Decorations, gift wrapping and a complete party kit are not listed as included items.

Ordering, shipping & wholesale

Can gift shops, party retailers and night-market sellers buy wholesale?

Businesses buying for resale can apply for a wholesale account. Approved customers sign in to see business pricing. Buying multiple products for a personal party does not automatically make an order wholesale.

What are the wholesale minimum and discount tiers?

Approved wholesale orders start at six units per SKU, in multiples of six, with a maximum of 600 units per SKU. The tier is 15% off for 6–23 units and 30% off for 24 or more. Different colors do not combine for a tier. For balls, six wholesale units are six six-packs: 36 balls of one color. See the wholesale conditions.

What are the U.S. shipping charges?

Retail and wholesale use the same shipping thresholds: $8 to the contiguous United States and D.C., with free shipping when the merchandise subtotal is at least $79 after discounts and before tax. Alaska and Hawaii shipping is $15. See the shipping policy and final checkout options.

Are retail and wholesale returns handled differently?

Eligible retail purchases have a 30-day return window under the refund policy. Wholesale orders are firm sale, with support for eligible damaged, incorrect or defective item claims under the business conditions. Contact PowerFly before returning goods.
